VG 875 Trailer / Floor Coating: An all-in-one Coating for Trailers
VG 875 is a fast-drying, semi-gloss, black urethane alkyd that is considered a hard coating. Suitable for all metal surfaces, it can also be applied on many non-metal surfaces as well – perfect for hybrid design trailers with many types of surfaces. If you are looking for a coating with proven, superior corrosion protection on areas where traditional undercoatings cannot be applied, consider VG 875.
Other features of VG 875 include:
- UV stability – able to be sprayed on areas exposed to UV rays; such as trailer tongues, trailer gates, sides and tops, while still retaining its structure and resistance to corrosive elements.
- Flexible application styles include airless systems, air assist spray for smaller, controlled, localized applications, as well as brushing and rolling onto various surfaces.
- Passes ASTM B117 / SAE J2334 / NACE TM testing – against the liquid de-icing brines used on the roads.
- VG 875 is a hard coating with a smooth finish, durable for loading/dumping areas for trailers and smooth surface allows for easy dumping process.
- Product can be applied as is. It arrives ready to be applied direct-to-metal and used with no mixing or thinning required for proper application.
- VG 875 was designed to also prevent corrosion in livestock trailers resulting from the acidic and corrosive nature of large animal urine and manure. As a result, the VG 875 formulation also helps curtail corrosion caused by harsher, caustic chemicals.
