OEM-Approved Solvent Undercoating / VG-104
Since about 2005 many states and municipalities have been using liquid nano de-icing brines (Magnesium and Calcium Chloride) to reduce icy spots on roads and to make winter driving conditions safer. Undercoating formulas and technology have changed to better combat these new brines and protect vehicles.
VG-104 is an OEM-Approved, high performance solvent based coating for the underside vehicles and highway trailers, that provides a flexible and abrasion resistant coating for superior protection against corrosion caused by moisture, salt and alkalis.
- Asphalt-based Undercoating with self-healing properties, for superior adhesion compared NOT an old-tech Rubberized formula.
- VG-104 is designed to be applied one-time, no annual reapplication needed like oil-based product lines.
- VG 104 is tested specifically against the liquid de-icing brines, so you are getting a PROVEN anti-rust solution that does not require an annual re-application or inspection
- Full cure in about 24 hours. Will not come off on clothes or drip on your driveway, unlike many oil-based products which remain viscous even months after application.
