A semi-fluid modified petroleum waterborne coating for the protection of the underbody components of trailers, utility bodies, bus bodies, RV’s, cars, trucks and other vehicles. Provides a tough, pliable coating for protection against abrasion and corrosion. Resists salt, alkalis and seals out moisture. Affords sound deadening to metal and fiberglass surfaces.
VG-240 is composed of an abrasive free material, formulated with emulsified petroleum, additives, corrosion inhibitors and inert fillers.
VG-240 can be applied with conventional airless spray equipment . VG-240 has been formulated for “direct to metal” application to cover, adhere and protect when applied over production grade steel. Excessively oily, dirty or rusted surfaces should be prepped before application. Application thickness of 12-14 mils minimum wet film is recommended.

VG-240 will dry to light touch in approximately 30 min, and fully cure in 24 hrs @ 70F. Drying will be indicated by a change of color from shiny (when first sprayed) to matte black. High humidity, wet conditions and low temperatures will extend the drying time. Air movement will speed dry times.

Spray guns, brushes and tools used for application, should be immersed in soapy water or mineral spirits when not in use. Dried material can be removed with mineral spirits.
This product will be permanently damaged if frozen. Please protect from severe weather. Store in a warm place.
