ValuGard VG-101 Cavity Rust Inhibitor is a solvent-borne, thixotropic, corrosion preventative compound designed to be sprayed using a no-holes-drilled jet atomizing action. No-drilling application means no destruction of factory paint film, nor any compromise of structural integrity of a vehicle frame or body. Thixotropic properties provide outstanding crevice penetration and product will creep in all directions from where it lands. The cured film dries to semi-firm barrier which gives longer term corrosion protection to treated surfaces. VG-101 Rust Inhibitor possesses dielectric strength of 800 volts per dry mil of coating and can be used inside cavities and areas with electronic sensors such as doors, hood areas, tailgates. Wide array of uses include vehicle body and frame cavities, electrical connections, marine, agricultural and industrial equipment, virtually anything that rusts!

The maximum performance of ValuGard Rust Inhibitor can be achieved only when the metal surfaces to be protected are clean, dry and free of rust, oil and mill scale. Automotive International recommends metal substrate temperature between 50-95°F (10-35°C) at the time of product application.
ValuGard Rust Inhibitor is formulated to be used as supplied. Stir or shake to ensure consistency prior to use. Continued stirring is generally not required. DO NOT THIN Rust Inhibitor. Incorrect thinning will affect film build, dry time and product performance. Automotive International recommends that the ambient and product temperature be 50-95°F (10-35°C) at time of application. ValuGard Rust Inhibitor can be spray applied. DO NOT FREEZE VALUGARD RUST INHIBITOR.
Consult SDS for proper storage, handling and personal protection requirements.
Store ValuGard VG-101 Rust Inhibitor at temperatures between 50-95°F (10-35°C). Mild agitation is recommended prior to use.
Adequate ventilation is required for cure and to ensure against formulation of a combustible liquid. THE PARTIALLY CURED FILM SHOULD NOT BE EXPOSED TO IGNITION SOURCES SUCH AS FLARES, FLAMES, SPARKS, and EXCESSIVE HEAT OR TORCHES.
