All of the ValuGard corrosion protection products (Rust Inhibitor and Under Coatings) are manufactured to stringent formulations and should not be reduced or thinned in anyway.
Thinning of the products either water based or solvent based will reduce the products performance during application and longevity.
Thinning of a product with the wrong type of solvent can damage the application equipment as well as the product.
Always remember to rotate your inventory to reduce the chance of product settling. Always ensure the product is of uniform consistency before use.
