ValuMask is a water based sprayable liquid that dries to a protective tack free film to prevent overspray from Under coating, atomized Rust Inhibitor or paints from adhering to the vehicles surfaces. Safe to use on all cured paints and other surfaces such as glass, chrome, grills, tires, wheels and engine compartments. It also useful for preventing buff splatter from sticking to all areas including door jambs. Product is Biodegradable and non-hazardous, safe to wash into drains.
Apply VG-340 to surfaces using conventional spray equipment. ValuMask can be applied with a gravity fed HVLP gun or pressure pot using 1.7 to 2.2 tip size. Pressure at the gun should be 30-50 psi. ValuMask can also be applied by a siphon gun or a hand sprayer set to fine mist.. Remove dust and dirt from surfaces to be protected. Apply evenly, film thickness should be approximately 4-6 mils wet. (Video of application process is available.)
VG-340 will dry in approximately 5-30 min. High humidity, wet conditions and low temperatures will extend the drying time. Air movement will speed dry times. ValuMask must be dry before it will protect from overspray. ValuMask is not designed to protect from a direct spray or solid coats. Use standard masking paper to protect those areas where direct spray is possible.
To remove ValuMask spray the vehicle thoroughly with water and allow to dwell a few minutes to loosen the coating and contaminates. Wash with a wet wash mitt from the top to bottom. Rinse completely from top to bottom until all of the coating has been removed. Dry vehicle completely with soft towels. Once you begin the removal process continue until finished.
Spray guns and tools used for application, should be immersed and cleaned with soapy water.
